It’s still a little bit jarring to think of hiking boots and Under Armor in the same sentence, but they’ve already proven themselves to make some pretty comfortable, versatile pairs, and the Field Ops Gore-tex are no different. They actually market them as hunting boots, and they’ll definitely serve whatever purpose you need them to.
Made from a waterproof leather and textile upper, these boots look like the perfect compromise between a heavy-duty pair of boots and more classic Under Armour athletic shoes. The toe is a Moc, and from the top, these look like iconic leather boots. It’s comfortable and lightweight – for it’s size – and the Goretex lining keeps it breathable while all the water stays out. An Anafoam overlay gives it a precise, custom fit, and a Wishbone TPU plate adds some torsional rigidity. Furthermore, an Ortholite sockliner has odor-blocking technology to keep bacteria and smells from festering, and the soles are Vibram and equipped for sturdy grip on smooth and rough surfaces alike.
The Field Ops Gore-tex are ready to go, whether you’re hunting or hiking. If we had to guess, they’re just as comfortable as your favorite sneaker, and with that Under Armour on there, they also look pretty cool with a pair of jeans for inclement weather.
