The Nikon Coolpix P1000 is one insane camera with insane zoom: about 125x. For what is essentially a fixed-lens camera the size of a large DSLR, to say that is impressive would be an understatement.
Sony has just announced their newest mirrorless camera, the Alpha A7R III, the newest upgrade and successor to the A7R II. The new model features a Full-Frame stacked, Exmor R CMOS sensor, with an impressive 42.2 megapixels. They've given it some new additions, such as gapless microlenses and anti-flare coating, as well as the latestBIONZ X image processing engine; as a result, they've got processing speeds of up to 1.8 times faster than the A7R II.
Canon has just announced their latest in the Powershot line - the Canon G1x Mark III, available this November. In a major upgrade for the point-and-shoot mainstay, the Gix MKIII comes with the same sensor as the Canon 80D - a 24.2-megapixel APS-C sensor with dual pixel autofocus.
