We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again (over and over again, in fact): we love American leather. We love it even more when it’s made right at home in America. So yes, it was only fitting that when we stumbled across Bexar Goods on one of our favorite gear shops, we spent an hour perusing everything they had to offer.
Hailing from Texas Hill Country, Bexar Goods makes their fine leather wallets, bags and watch straps by hand, generally using USA-sourced leather. Trim and details such as hand-stitching, poly cord threading and premium brass hardware add some vintage panache and quality throughout. All those glossy photo essays and high-res photos showing off their gear in some pretty exotic and exciting locales certainly add to the appeal, too.
So, in appreciation of these Texas guys’ classic style and adventurous spirit, we’ll share three fine pieces of Bexar Goods gear we’d like to add to our collection.
